Tree of Lights 2022

Thank you to all who participated in the 2022 Montgomery Hospice and Prince George’s Hospice Tree of Lights ceremony. Each year, the ceremony provides the opportunity to remember family and friends during the season of Thanksgiving. Your commemoration of a loved one enables our organization to care for anyone with a life-limiting illness – regardless of ability to pay.

Tree Lighting Ceremony – Monday, November 21, 6:30pm to 8:00pm

A large evergreen tree on the grounds of Brookside Gardens, designated as the 2022 Montgomery Hospice and Prince George’s Hospice Tree of Lights, was illuminated with hundreds of lights. Each light representing the life of a loved one who shines in our memory.

The brief outdoor ceremony included words of remembrance from our counseling staff and concluded with the stunning illumination of the Tree of Lights. The tree will remain illuminated at Brookside Gardens throughout the winter holidays. If you were there, thank you for joining us! If you were unable to attend, we welcome you to watch our virtual ceremony below.
