Lisa Morris, LCSW-C, ACHP-SW, is a social worker with specialization in end-of-life care, grief and loss. She has worked in hospice care since 1989, providing direct care to terminally ill patients and their families and providing clinical supervision to hospice social workers who are seeking their LCSW-C or LICSW licenses. Lisa came to Montgomery Hospice in 1997. She brings a wealth of hospice experience and community resource expertise to her current position. She educates employees as well as the community about the complexities of caring for hospice patients and their families.
Lisa studied Chinese Language at Tung Hai University in Taiwan and has a Bachelors of Art in Sociology from George Washington University. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of America with a concentration in Health and Mental Health. She also has 20 years experience working as a Massage Therapist. She is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, the National Association of Social Workers and has her Advanced Certification as a Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker.
