Honor a loved one or friend

There are many ways to support Montgomery Hospice. Each and every contribution you make can be made as a memorial gift honoring a loved one – or as a tribute to a friend or former caregiver. All such gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

How do I make a Memorial Gift or a gift in honor of someone?

You can make a Memorial Gift or a gift in honor of someone (perhaps for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion) using our online-giving form (or by phone or mail). The form allows you to name who you would like to be honored by your gift and also gives you an opportunity to include the name and contact information of a person to be notified of your contribution.

Individuals or families have the opportunity to honor or remember a loved one with a name-etched, glass plate to be added to the Casey House Donor Wall on display in the main foyer. These beautiful glass plates – which support the vital work of Casey House, are available with a gift of $2,500 or more. Your donation may be paid in installments. For more information call the Montgomery Hospice Philanthropy Office at 301-921-4400.

Tree of Lights Ceremony

Commemorate a loved one or honor someone who has touched your life by participating in the Montgomery Hospice Tree of Lights ceremony held annually. This poignant ceremony provides the opportunity to remember friends and family members during the winter holiday season and allows attendees to reconnect with patient caregivers. Lights, which commemorate loved ones, range from $20 – $50.
