More Ways to Give
Leave a Lasting Legacy by Making a Planned Gift
Planned giving provides you with the opportunity to make a meaningful charitable gift that also responds to your immediate and long-term financial planning. You are invited to join the Circle of Light Society, which recognizes individuals who have included Montgomery Hospice in their estate plans or have established a gift using another method of planned giving. Your planned gift will help to ensure the availability of Montgomery Hospice services for future generations.
Stocks and Securities
Donations of appreciated stocks and securities are a great option for making a donation. If you have owned stock for at least one year, you are entitled to a tax deduction of the fair market value of the stock on the date of transfer and may also be entitled to capital gains relief. More information on making a gift of stock.
Make a Pledge
A pledged gift provides you with the flexibility of making a gift at a future date or incrementally over the course of time. Pledges may be directed toward a specific program or toward the area of greatest need. Make a pledge now.
Workplace giving is possible through payroll deduction. Montgomery Hospice partners with Community First - America’s Charities of Greater Washington, D.C. to facilitate workplace giving campaigns at area businesses and government agencies. We participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (#85936), Montgomery County Employee Giving Campaign, Maryland Charity Campaign for state employees, and many private employers' campaigns. Our staff would be pleased to help you establish an internal campaign for your organization. To do so, please contact Terri Fritz at 301-921-4400.
Multiply the value of your gift by participating in a “matching gift” program established by your employer. Contact the Human Resources Department at your place of employment to learn if such a program is offered.
