If your illness has led you to decide you don't want paramedics or emergency room workers to give you CPR, talk to your physician about a non-hospital do not resuscitate order (NHDNR).  If you go to a hospital, nursing home, or hospice, your doctor will complete Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatments (MOLST) that will communicate your treatment choices.  MOLST orders will travel with you throughout the healthcare system to ensure a more consistent approach to your treatment decisions.
