Healthcare professionals involved in care for patients at the end of life may experience numerous patient losses. If left unaddressed, the losses they experience can leave them feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and burnt out. This training will help professionals beter understand the nature of compassion fatigue and the grief process (from a professional standpoint). and learn strategies to cope as they care for patients at the end of life. 

Continuing Education:
*1.0 contact hour for social workers, nurses, nursing home administrators/assisted living managers (through NAB)

*This program counts towards The Center for Learning's Certificate in End-of-Life Care (mandatory)
